At Inspired Games, we have eco-friendly and ethical policies in place because we really care about these issues.

For those of you who share our concerns about the future of our planet and for example, child labour issues in several conutries, we hope you can appreciate that our production costs - and therefore, our retail prices – may be slightly higher than some companies who do not share our concerns. We hope you agree that this is a very small price to pay to bring you even more enjoyment and to know your purchase has not contributed to the destruction of the world’s forests or exploited human rights.

Our environmental policy

Our policy is to seek to source and purchase components and materials for our finished products which have the least negative impact on the environment and which meet the following criteria:

• Waste is minimised and items recycled whenever this is practicable.
• Conservation practices are employed.

The game board and packaging for our Starplayer Football Board Game are made from 100% recycled material and are fully recyclable. All cards for Starplayer games are Forest Stewardship Council ("FSC") compliant - wood for the production of cards and paper is obtained from managed forests.

Who is the FSC and what do they do?

FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Established in 1993 as a response to concerns over global deforestation, FSC is widely regarded as one of the most important initiatives of the last decade to promote responsible forest management worldwide.  Our ethical policy

Inspired Games are produced under working conditions that do not involve the exploitation of any persons and we seek to only work with suppliers whose labour and employment standards meet our ethical policy, encompassing the following:

• Employment is freely chosen

• Working conditions are safe and hygienic

• Working hours are fair

• Child labour is not used

• At least the minimum wage is paid to employees

• No discrimination is practised

We will faithfully maintain our policies, as detailed above, for all games we produce under the STARPLAYER brand or other games which we produce for other companies.
